Wow! I just got off the phone with Heather Lopez of Happy and Healthy Mom, and I am so excited! Back in October, Heather started a new business that is geared towards new moms and mommies to be. But the part that I thought you would be most interested in is a grant fund that she is creating.
Heather is putting together a grant fund where she will award multiple grants of up to $500. The grants will be awarded to any mom entrepreneur who needs funds to start or grow a business based on their application. There will be a voting process to determine who will receive the grants.
Heather is very dedicated to helping other mompreneurs be able to afford to start a business. She knows it can be hard for women who are just starting out to be able to afford to start the right way. There are always more expenses than you think when you first get a business going. Heather is hoping to help as many mom entrepreneurs as she can with this grant fund.
The grant is funded partially by a portion of Happy and Healthy Mom profits, as well as some sponsors.

If you already have an established business and would like to help contribute to the fund, please contact Heather. She has put together some great ideas on how mompreneurs can help contribute to the fund while also promoting their business. One example she gave is for a mompreneur to hold a webinar and a portion of the webinar sales will go to the grant fund.
