Millionaire Reading Room

Welcome to the Millionaire Reading Room!

There are 3 requirements for a resource to make it on my millionaire list:

  1. the resources must have either been written by someone who has become a millionaire,
  2. or has been read or recommended by people who have become millionaires.
  3. The resource also must have had a great impact on me in my life or my business by offering a plethora of knowledge, insight or inspiration to help me move forward towards my goals.

I hope these resources will be of value to you as you follow through your own journey. Any comments you have about this list would be highly valued.

StrengthsFinder 2.0
by Tom Rath

I was skeptical about this book at first, but when it kept popping up as a recommended book that I should read, I bought it. It’s not really a book that you read, but rather an online test that you take. I was still skeptical even while taking the test, but once I read the results from this test, I was hooked. This test knew me like no one has ever known me before. The descriptions of who I am were right on. I couldn’t believe how exact they were. The results even include action steps useful for the type of person you are.

Web Copy That Sells: The Revolutionary Formula for Creating Killer Copy That Grabs Their Attention and Compels Them to Buy

Maria has worked for the best of the best internet marketers of all time Mark Joyner. For anyone creating internet sales pages, this book is a must. I highly recommend you underline and dog-ear this book. Don’t just read through it, study it!

Guerrilla Marketing has changed the way I think about business. Cereus Women is entirely built from the concepts found in this book. Whether you are new to marketing or have been marketing for a while, I highly suggest picking up a copy of this book.

Guerrilla Marketing on the Front Lines
by Jay Conrad Levinson and Mitch Meyerson

When I first saw this book, I thought it was just another way for the authors to add another book to their repertoire, but once I started reading it I really understood the full value of what the authors have done. This book takes the concepts of Guerrilla Marketing to a new and deeper level. It offers 35 different views on how to use the concepts and apply them to your business. It’s a great complement to the original Guerrilla Marketing book

Turn Your Passion Into Profit
by Walt Goodridge

Walt really understands passion and the role that it plays in the success of your life and of any business venture. He walks you through all the thought processes that are required to find your passion. He supplies poetry, thought-provoking questions and a plethora of resources to help you along the way. I love how he incorporates all the great concepts from the most successful people and ties them all together. He explains the concepts in simple, very easy to read sections and provides insight into why these concepts are important.

Think and Grow Rich
by Napoleon Hill

This book can change your life. If you read it enough times, you will begin to understand the concepts. Once you understand them, your life will change forever. Every time I read this book, I learn different things from it. It’s one of those books you want in your library to pick up and read every year or so. There are also updated versions of this book, but I prefer this version because I like to really get inside the author’s head.

Getting to Yes: Negotiating Agreement Without Giving In
by Roger Fisher, William Ury, and Bruce Patton

MIT Sloan School of Management uses this book as a textbook for some of their management classes. The book is a great resource for anyone who needs to negotiate money or terms with anyone. The concepts in the book are all about developing a win-win solution for all parties involved. This is one book, I really want to read again soon.

Secrets of Millionaire Moms
by Tamara Monosoff

This book is a great entrepreneurial resource. The author talks alot about overcoming fear, family and life balance, how to get started and how to make it all work. I especially enjoyed this book because it was full of successful role models. If you are looking for a way to grow a successful business while raising children, then this book will inspire you.
